Visitor access: Hastings Beach is beside the Richard Haynes Boardwalk, near Hastings Rock Esplanade. Parking is at Hastings Rock; boardwalk access is described as largely step free.
Water safety: Barbados Tourism lists no lifeguard on duty. Rocks occur at the waterline in places. Check local conditions and posted notices before entering the sea; no assurance of safe swimming is implied.
