Overview

Joe’s River runs through the wooded landscape of Saint Joseph from the Chimborazo uplands and Frizer’s Valley to the coast between Cattlewash and Bathsheba. Its watershed includes hills and gullies, and the river is known for crayfish and eels. A restored pedestrian bridge on the former railway route crosses the river and connects the two coastal communities, offering a view into the river corridor.
