Overview
Batts Rock Beach is a public west-coast beach and park just north of Bridgetown. The setting combines a sandy swimming area with mature trees, picnic space and convenient public facilities, making it useful for both a short swim and a longer family outing.
Sea conditions change. Follow lifeguard, flag and local guidance before swimming or snorkeling.

Access and parking: The NCC lists Batts Rock, St Michael, as a vehicular public beach access. Visit Barbados describes a winding approach road with parking beneath trees.
Facilities: Showering and changing facilities, picnic benches and a play park are listed by Visit Barbados. Confirm what is operating on the day; restaurant hours and staffed-facility hours can differ from beach access.
Watch for rocks and changing water conditions while swimming or snorkelling. Follow beach flags and lifeguard instructions, and do not enter the sea under a red flag.
Keep food secured and do not feed wildlife.
