Overview
Silver Sands Beach is a breezy south-coast beach near South Point, best known for windsurfing, kitesurfing and energetic Atlantic-influenced conditions. Strong wind, waves and undercurrents make it better suited to experienced board-sport users and spectators than casual swimmers.

The NCC lists Silver Sands as a vehicular public beach access. Check signs and current parking arrangements on arrival.
Changing facilities, rentals and small food shops are described nearby by Visit Barbados, but they have separate operating hours. No dependable on-beach lifeguard coverage is confirmed.
Undercurrents and energetic surf make the water unsuitable for casual swimming. Use a qualified local instructor for windsurfing or kitesurfing, and follow current conditions and warnings.
