Overview
Royal Westmoreland is a private residential and holiday estate in Saint James on Barbados’ west coast. The operator’s rental collection includes apartments, golf cottages, golf villas, townhouses and larger villas, with layouts and private or shared pools varying by property. Families, couples and groups can choose self-catering accommodation within the estate. The estate has a championship golf course, racquet-sport facilities, the Sanctuary gym and dining venues. Its Beach Club is at Mullins Beach, separate from the accommodation estate. Rental entitlements depend on the property, booking channel and package; ownership or membership benefits should not be assumed to accompany every rental. Before booking, confirm the exact residence, sleeping arrangements, pool type, housekeeping, club access and any golf rounds included. Royal Apartments do not include golf in the stay, and the operator’s golf promotions exclude private residences outside its rental portfolio.

Arrival and departure: The guest portal lists checkout at 10:00 am and reception daily 9:00 am–6:00 pm. Confirm check-in, late-arrival arrangements and your residence’s checkout terms with the holiday team; the older linked booking document does not establish a reliable universal arrival time.
Families and accommodation: Children and family groups are welcome in the rental collection. Ask the holiday team to confirm bedrooms, maximum occupancy, cots or extra beds, child charges and pool supervision arrangements for your chosen residence.
Golf: Ask +1 246 419 7242 or proshop@royal-westmoreland.com about eligibility, included rounds, available tee times, equipment and charges. Royal Apartments exclude golf from the stay. Some operator rentals include rounds, but this is not a promise for all villas, booking channels or independently rented owner properties.
Beach Club and activities: The Beach Club is at Mullins Beach. Confirm your rental’s Club, Sanctuary and court access and the current shuttle timetable with concierge. The published shuttle schedule is seasonal; do not assume its times apply to your stay.
Dining: Confirm restaurant openings and dress requirements with concierge before visiting. Current official pages disagree on the Sanctuary Café’s days and closing time; the guest portal also lists seasonal venue closures.
Booking terms: Get the current minimum stay, deposit, cancellation deadline, taxes, supplements and included services in writing for the selected rate. The website links a May 2022 terms document with dated contact details; do not assume its conditions apply unchanged to every rental. Discuss the exact residence and routes to facilities if you have accessibility needs.
