Overview
Sandy Lane is a long-established luxury resort in St. James, set in a mahogany grove overlooking a 1,000-foot crescent of white coral sand on Barbados' Platinum Coast. Accommodation spans 113 rooms, suites and penthouses plus a secluded five-bedroom villa. What you'll find: Five restaurant experiences and seven resort bars; a 47,000-square-foot spa; three golf experiences including the resort-guest-exclusive Green Monkey course; a complete water-sports programme; floodlit tennis courts; four padel courts; a business centre; and an air-conditioned library/lounge. Executive return airport transfers are included in hotel rates. Good to know: Dining venues have different hours and reservation rules, so the hotel's website should be checked for the selected restaurant. Some restaurants restrict non-resident access over the festive period. The Green Monkey golf course is reserved for resort guests.

Arrival and departure: Check-in is at 4:00 pm. The published 2026 terms set checkout at noon from 12 April to 31 October and at 1:00 pm from 1 November to 16 December. Confirm checkout for other dates with reservations@sandylane.com.
Airport transfers: Return executive-car transfers are included in the hotel’s rates. Arrange them in advance and tell reservations@sandylane.com about your luggage and party size so a suitable vehicle can be provided. Rolls-Royce transfers are an upgrade.
Families: Children are welcome. The Treehouse Club is complimentary for resident hotel guests, with children’s activities and a separate teen lounge. Children under three must attend with a parent, nanny or babysitter. Confirm the current programme and any paid babysitting or lessons before arrival.
Dining: Make reservations for the restaurant you want and check its current hours and dress requirements. Festive access rules can differ for non-residents. In-room dining operates around the clock; confirm meal-plan coverage and supplements for your chosen booking.
Spa and golf: The gym and spa are for guests aged 16 or older. The Green Monkey golf course is reserved for resort guests. Book treatments and tee times ahead and confirm the applicable charges.
