About ratings, reviews and paid links
The Google score and count shown here are an imported snapshot, not live Google data or reviews submitted to BIM ONE. A missing score means no score is recorded here. Featured placement is not a customer rating. Links labelled sponsored or affiliate may earn BIM ONE a commission; that does not establish availability or a confirmed reservation.
Overview
The Rockley is a 49-suite hotel on Barbados' South Coast, close to Rockley Beach, the South Coast Boardwalk, public transport, restaurants and nightlife. Its design centres Bajan art and culture, including a rotating local-art gallery and hand-painted murals. What you'll find: Junior, one-bedroom, penthouse and two-bedroom suites with private balconies and kitchenettes or full kitchens; complimentary breakfast; a 75-foot outdoor pool with a shallow children's area; fitness room; play space; on-site dining and bar service; Wi-Fi; guest laundry; in-suite spa treatments; and beach towels, loungers and umbrellas for guests at nearby Rockley Beach. Good to know: The beach is nearby rather than directly on the hotel grounds; the hotel describes it as 267 steps away and issues a daily voucher for one umbrella and up to two sunbeds per room. Direct bookings of four nights or more qualify for complimentary round-trip airport transfers. Weekly activities change and some tours or classes carry an extra charge. The property was rebranded from South Beach Hotel in 2024, so some official media filenames still use the former name.

Before you go+
Arrival and departure: Check-in is at 4pm and checkout at 11am. Luggage storage is available before check-in. Early check-in depends on availability and may cost extra.
Transfers: Complimentary round-trip airport transfers are offered for stays of four nights or more booked directly on the hotel website. Confirm arrangements and eligibility with stay@therockleybarbados.com; other bookings should check transfer costs.
Meals and beach: Breakfast is included; the hotel is not all-inclusive. Rockley Beach is a short walk away. A daily voucher provides one beach umbrella and up to two sunbeds per room.
Families and room choice: Two-bedroom suites are marketed for families; junior, one-bedroom and penthouse options have different bed layouts and capacities. Confirm your exact party with reservations, as the room page and FAQ give differing maximum occupancies. The person reserving must be at least 18; under-16s need adult supervision at the pool.
Accessibility: The hotel describes its public areas as wheelchair-accessible but has no specifically adapted bedrooms. Walk-in showers and shower chairs on request are available. Discuss your exact room and access needs with reservations before booking.
Guest policies: Pets are not allowed. Smoking and vaping are confined to designated areas; ask reception where these are.
Late departures: A hospitality suite with a shower and fresh towels is available after checkout. Laundry facilities are provided on most floors. In-room spa services, babysitting and sister-hotel passes are optional arrangements; ask about charges.
Booking terms: Confirm your selected rate’s deposit, cancellation conditions, room levy and incidental deposit with reservations. The official FAQ contains inconsistent refund and deposit wording, so request the terms that apply to your booking in writing.
